I like the last one. Wonder if he actually snuck over that far.

Holy crap. Whats 5 feet away with a gun pointed at your head? This guy. You're dead before you even know he's right behind you...

edit - remove - report - save #3 - by Anonymous Aug 30, 2008

It should be noted that the effectiveness of camouflage is zilch unless the wearer is absolutely still. In any of these pictures, if the guy was moving you'd spot him right away.

YEESSS PUERTO RICO THE BEST!!!

Crye Precision Multi-Cam Pattern Digital Camoflauge increases concealment rates from acupat or marpat digital another 64%

camoflague still helps, even with a bit of movement. sure its not as good, but it still helps...

Although at first it seems cool, it's really not.
Yes, modern camo is fairly impressive. But this type of gear is available at any hunting store. Photos like these examples could be staged by anyone.

I used to be a homeless rodeo clown but now I am a world class magician !

I'd say that a large part of this effectiveness is an illusion caused by poor resolution. E.g. the last two images: Camo doesn't look like lawn, not at all. But when it's on a 20x20 px area with dithering, well then, yes.

edit - remove - report - save #14 - by Anonymous Aug 30, 2008

its called multicam and its made my a company called crye precision. the US army was going to use it however they decided to go with their current universal camo system (the gray crap)

edit - remove - report - save #20 - by Anonymous Aug 30, 2008

Amazing, i think some of em r photos with no one in it lol. despite what the nay sayers comment cammo is extremely effective even if the wearer moves and ya u can buy almost any cammo at a hunting supply store but only training will allow u to be effective at blending in, thats where military training and experience come in. impressive very very imprssive

edit - remove - report - save #21 - by Anonymous Aug 30, 2008

95% of these pictures are of people wearing Crye/Propper brand Multicam. It's basically multiple camo patterns in one set of cammies. Extremely effective, and I love it.

edit - remove - report - save #22 - by Anonymous Aug 31, 2008

Military training might help but for real expertise, grow up turkey hunting. :-)

edit - remove - report - save #28 - by arf (THaFNJwRig) - Aug 31, 2008

pretty fun... multicam is pretty effective in sun...
but in darkness, or more simply: "cloudy" , your like a neon in dark, wherever you are!!

but I like it, simply because i think he is pretty cool )
