"With eyes that seem older than her years, this Afghan girl lives near Tora Bora, once home to Osama bin Laden. High in the mountains, the Pashtun tribal region offers many trails that lead to Pakistan. The Pashtun have never recognized the formal border cut through their territory, the 'Durand line' drawn by the British diplomat Sir Henry Mortimer Durand in 1893 to separate British India from Afghanistan, and later used as the basis for the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan."

Seriously you guyz really uneducated crowd with know commen knowledge. This Girl actually is afghan. Afghanistan is a country with different races living all together. This Girl is actually a Penjsher Gil from the Vlley of Penjsher, where lots of soldiers from Alexander the Great settled and married local women. So please guys before u add another useless comments ask. PS: thats no eyeliner its KAJOL, just google it.

id like to bring your mum into this 15, from the back, mwahahahahaha! oh and yeah ok the pic is awesome and the stupid comments about it being faked are uneducated, the word captain uber-crap speller was looking for is "Kohl", like they used in ancient egypt, google it, ), and the Alexander comment is also right he even had a Bactrian (modern day Afghanistan) wife Roxana who bore his son Alexander IV Aegus (neither of whom survived long past him, they got wacked by Cassander) and Afghanistan has had many groups move in and out of the region since then. Read some books you haters!

Hey Anonymous. Does your "afgan" girl spell as well as you do. WOWsers some angry people here with alot of misplaced aggression to share. Who cares about spell check (she was angry!) and you can be cultured and wise and not spell.
