Currently under construction the Oasis of the Seas will become the largest cruise liner ever built. It’ll include a state-of-the-art travelling city complete with a shopping mall, numerous bars and restaurants, and an outdoor amphitheatre the size of a football field with its own micro-climate and rock-climbing walls. All this will be packed into the 1,081ft long boat.
She is currently being built at a cost of £610million (about 2 billion dollars) in Aker Yards in Turku, Finland and is due to set sail next year. The cruise liner is scheduled to hit the seas in late 2009, when she will operate Caribbean cruises out of Port Everglades in Florida.
