Desert Landing
The A400M is an economical turboprop aircraft with a cruise _speed almost as fast as turbofan powered transports. It was designed in compliance with the requirements stipulated by the air forces of the eight European countries who are participating to the project (Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Turkey) The A400M will cover different tactical transport, logistical, humanitarian and peace-keeping needs. It can be deployed in areas with little infrastructure, it can be refuelled in the air and can be used as a refuelling aircraft itself. maximum load: 37 tones. The aircraft can transport 20 tones over a distance of 3,500 km at a flight speed of 421 knots. Troop transport (120 paratroopers), freight (nine 108 \" x 88\" pallets or two combat helicopters), also air rescue equipment (Medieval) Airbus Military, in which EADS has a share of more than 76%, is the prime contractor for the A400M programme.
